About the book:
From USA Today bestsellers Ava Harrison and Vanessa Fewings comes the lush world of New Orleans filled with twists, turns, deceit and seduction.

Anya
My father was ruthless.
Cold. Calculated. Formidable.
Every decision. Every step. Every thought. Every breath he controlled.
I never thought anyone could despise him as much as I did.
I was wrong. So wrong.
There was one person.
He wanted revenge. I was the willing pawn.
He was dangerous, beautiful, broken, and most of all a way to get back at my father.
But there’s one thing I didn’t count on . . .
Falling in love.

Cassius
Stephen Glassman is my sworn enemy.
And so, I felt no guilt as I took his most valuable possession.
His darling daughter.
Anya’s suffering is my new favorite pastime.
My promise to kill her one day? Inevitable.
She’s mine now. Mine to control. Mine to seduce. Mine to own.
Who knew revenge would be this sweet?

5 STARS!
The Ravishing is the type of book you think of when needing an alpha, dominate man, but also a sensual, teddy bear type lover. I was blown away at the storyline, how the authors took the innocent teenage boy, hardened him, carved his soul from cold stone, and brought him up to be ruthless, goal oriented, and detached from all emotion. Cassius went through things no boy should ever go through, but he forged on and thrived for his sister, his one dark promise he made to the man who ruined their life giving him the will to continue on. It is clear that the authors wanted their readers to not put this book down! Secrets are in full swing throughout the storyline, keeping you on the edge of your seat, your heart racing, your pulse thrumming as the hero and heroine release their tension together. The cold, heartless Cassius begins to crack because of Anya. Anya. She is his sunshine in the hurricane of life. But Anya has baggage too, secrets she only just found out before Cassius invaded her life. Both are broken, both come together and be the person the other needs.
This book is not to be missed!
Connor and Vanessa are prefect for this book. The emotions are so real, so primal, so loving. I always enjoy hearing these two in my ears!
*I was given an ALC (advanced listener copy) by the author to give my honest review of this book.
