Q&A with Dianne Duvall

The many characters you create have a special place in your reader's/listener's hearts. Set some minds at ease and tell us this series is not ending anytime soon, right? 

💥Dianne: This series is definitely not ending anytime soon. As some of you might have seen me say before, I am having way too much fun with these characters to give them up. And one of the reasons I love writing series is because I DON’T have to give them up. So the Immortal Guardians family just keeps growing and growing. :-)

We readers/listeners love the other series too, The Gifted Ones and The Aldebarian Alliance series are fantastic! For those who adore Medieval Romance, will there ever be more Gifted Ones books in the works down the way?

💥Dianne: Yes. I actually intended to write another book in The Gifted Ones series this year but found myself needing more of an escape than usual. So I’ve been gravitating towards the Aldebarian Alliance series and venturing into space. (Can’t get more of an escape than by leaving the planet.) But I’ve wanted to write Meghan’s story and Geoffrey’s story and even Josh’s story for quite some time now. Hopefully, I’ll dive into those soon.

I think most of us can agree that we are big movie buffs and would love to see your series play out on the big screen/ Netflix someday. I have to ask this since you love the world of FX too... Would you cast yourself, maybe how Stephen King pops in random places in his movies as a minor character? Because that would be so freakin' cool! 

💥Dianne: That would be so much fun. BUT I’m pretty camera shy. I still don’t know how some of the independent filmmakers I worked with talked me into appearing onscreen. LOL. Here’s hoping Netflix will pick up the series and give me the opportunity. :-)

We know Cliff has been a big part of the Immortal Guardians fan base since the beginning. Without giving too much away, is there another character or set of characters screaming at you to tell their tale next? (Secretly wanting Imhotep's story!)

💥Dianne: There are at least a handful of characters in the Immortal Guardians series that want me to tell their story right now. I just have to decide who’s making the most compelling argument, then dive in. ;-)
