I am a huge fan of Dianne Duvall's ways of writing paranormal romance, it reminds me of a mixture of Lynsay Sands, Charlaine Harris, and K. Lorraine with its whimsical flow and thrilling action, adventure, supernatural beings, and kick-ass characters. You'll be wanting to read/listen again and again!
In her latest release of her new ALDEBARIAN ALLIANCE series, we get to see whole new worlds only an author with such vivid imagination could concoct.

Dianne is top notch in creating new life, love, and kick-ass warriors in everything she writes!
The Segonian is the second installment into the Aldebarian Alliance series, a series that coincides with her best-known Immortal Guardians series. We were given a glimpse into Dianne's Aldebarian Alliance series at the end of Death of Darkness, making many wonder which way the author would go with the next books. I was so pleased to discover that she wasn’t going to overload her Immortal Guardians series by going back and forth from Earth to space and back again, instead creating this amazing new series all on its own!
Action, adventure, earthlings, immortals, aliens, and bad-ass warriors come together in this series, keeping me wanting more time and time again!
This book is about Eliana, an immortal 'earthling' who is on a trip of a lifetime to a utopian planet. Not giving too much away, things happen while in transport and Eliana ends up floating in space in only a suit. She is unlike any other earthling the alien races have come to know and gives it her all to stay alive, all while making friends with an alien race called the Segonians. Villains lurk in deep space, waiting to pounce at the most inopportune time for the hero and heroine. Eliana shows her strength and determination of a fierce warrior, one who tends to curse in the heat of the moment and loves acting as 'one of the guys'. She is one of my favorite female immortals to date!
My favorite word in this book is Milessia. A Segonian endearment. You will have to read why...💖
The way the author is able to imagine a world unlike ours, create words unlike that of what anyone on this planet has heard before, and be able to suck her readers in with the twists and turns of the plot, has us coming back for more! Her series are ones I come back to often, so often that I forever marked my skin in a tattoo to show my love!
Kirsten Potter yet again brings the author's characters to life by narrating in such a fashion that encapsulates the listener and make them feel like they are right there in the thick of the storyline with these characters. Her tone is able to go from female to male easily, many different accents such as English, British, Egyptian, and more, and brings out the emotion the author is hoping to convey to her readers.
Nothing but amazing things to say about her! I hope Dianne requests Kirsten to record all future books so to keep these wonderful characters alive in our ears!
All in all, GRAB THIS BOOK! You will not be disappointed!
